Vision for podcast:

Collecting and sharing stories of how people are combining herbalism and activism.  Exploring topics like colonization, land defense, environmental and social justice, the history of defending herbal medicines as well as various creative business models for trying to make herbal healing accessible to clients and sustainable for practitioners.

There are so many amazing people doing innovative and inspired healing and justice work.   Their stories need to be told!

A bit about the host, garliq...

Hi there, my name is garliq.   I’m a radical, activist and organizer who is passionate about social and environmental justice.  My heart aches to see an end to the violence and devastation rampant in the world today.  I dream of a world that is beautiful, healthy, vibrant and just, where humans live in harmony (not dominance) with Nature and one another.

Special Thanks To:

Dana Lyons for all of his inspirational, land defending tunes, but especially for permission to use "Willie Says" for this podcast.  It's a song about teachings he received from an elder in the Lummi Indian Nation near Bellingham, WA.  You can check out his work at: www.CowsWithGuns.com

Also a special thanks to Tad Hargrave, of Marketing For Hippies, and Mark Silver, of Heart of Business, for your encouragement and support to put this work out to the world.

And to my family for being such supportive cheerleaders :)

Wishing you strength & wisdom in your stories of healing, justice, resistance and change!
